Wrought-iron bench frame, Renaissance style

A sturdy bench or luggage-rack frame in hand-forged iron, with X-shaped legs decorated with scrolls, foliate motifs and hoof-shaped feet. A piece of forge work typical of mid-20th-century Spanish occasional furniture, with a Renaissance/Cordovan-inspired style.

The piece is sold as shown in the photographs: the metal frame only, without a seat. It is ideal for reupholstering in leather or fabric, fitting with a custom-made wooden top, or displaying as it is as a sculptural piece.
